Job Summary
We are in search of a meticulous and highly skilled Pharmacist to become part of our dedicated team.
The successful applicant will be tasked with dispensing medications, delivering expert pharmaceutical care, educating patients on proper medication use, and upholding all pharmacy regulations and standards.
Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement. Accurately review and dispense prescriptions while ensuring strict adherence to professional and regulatory standards.
Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services, including patient medication counseling and health education, to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
Evaluate medication regimens to detect possible drug interactions or contraindications and ensure patient safety.
Oversee the pharmacy’s dispensing processes and assist the staff in executing their daily responsibilities.
Oversee the management of stock inventory, procurement processes, and the appropriate storage of pharmaceutical products.
You will report directly to the Pharmacist Manager and work collaboratively on pharmacy operations, patient care initiatives, and team development efforts.
Ensure adherence to all applicable pharmacy regulations, established policies, and rigorous quality standards.
Assist in customer service operations and play a key role in enhancing patient engagement efforts.
Perform meticulous record-keeping while providing assistance to administrative and operational tasks as designated.
The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with at least three years of professional experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, as well as the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are also necessary to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate a keen attention to detail, a proactive work ethic, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
A Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Harm.D) is required.
Holds an active and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in the applicable jurisdiction.
A minimum of one year’s experience in either a community pharmacy or clinical pharmacy setting is required.
Proficiency in an integrative pharmacy setting would be considered a valuable asset.
Proficiency in overseeing sundries, wellness products, and cosmetics is strongly preferred.
Effective communication, clinical expertise, and customer service competencies are essential.
Demonstrates strong self-motivation and the capacity to manage tasks effectively without constant oversight.
Requires strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities to ensure precision and efficiency in all tasks.
Proximity to the pharmacy’s location is strongly preferred.
The remuneration package for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience, offering a full-time annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000. Benefits include comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions up to 5%. A monthly remuneration ranging from N160,000 to N200,000 is offered for this position.
A compensation package is offered, commensurate with qualifications and professional background.
Each quarter, eligible employees may receive a performance-based bonus, contingent upon meeting specified criteria and company objectives.
The annual performance evaluation assesses employees’ contributions, strengths, and areas for development over the past year. Key responsibilities include gathering performance data, evaluating key performance indicators, and documenting results in a formal review.
