Job Summary
The Food Technologist plays a pivotal role in guaranteeing the safe and high-quality production of cashew products, strictly adhering to food safety regulations and compliance standards. This position involves supervising production and packaging operations, developing and applying product formulations, upholding stringent quality benchmarks, and meticulously documenting all manufacturing activities.
Oversee a diverse range of critical duties, including strategic planning, team leadership, and operational execution to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently. Develop and implement policies to enhance productivity, maintain compliance with industry standards, and foster a collaborative work environment. Coordinate cross-functional projects, monitor performance metrics, and provide actionable insights to senior management to drive continuous improvement. Additionally, manage stakeholder relationships, allocate resources effectively, and uphold accountability for achieving departmental goals.
Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), and the organization’s established quality standards.
Responsible for managing cashew production and packaging processes to maintain operational efficiency, consistency, and adherence to quality standards.
Develop and oversee ingredient formulations for a range of product variations, ensuring adherence to established standards and specifications.
Oversee thorough examinations of raw materials, in-process items, and final outputs to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Accurately maintain all production, quality, and batch documentation to ensure compliance and traceability.
Evaluate current workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies and design solutions that boost operational efficiency while minimizing resource expenditure.
Assist with audit execution, regulatory inspections, and ongoing enhancement projects to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
Provide comprehensive training to production personnel regarding food safety protocols and quality standards.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology, Food Technology, Microbiology, or an equivalent discipline is required.
A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in food manufacturing, quality assurance, or food processing is required.
Proficiency in food safety frameworks, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards, is essential.
Demonstrates exceptional precision, analytical capabilities, and meticulous documentation practices.
