Job Summary
We seek a skilled Quantity Surveyor to oversee project expenditures, develop precise cost estimates, track budgets meticulously, and guarantee the economical completion of projects.
Oversee and execute a range of critical duties essential to achieving organizational objectives, including developing and implementing strategic initiatives, managing cross-functional projects, and ensuring alignment with company policies and industry standards. Collaborate with senior leadership to analyze performance metrics, identify opportunities for growth, and drive continuous improvement across teams. Monitor workflows to guarantee operational efficiency, enforce compliance with regulatory requirements, and mitigate risks through proactive measures. Serve as a liaison between departments to facilitate seamless communication, resolve interdepartmental conflicts, and foster a collaborative work environment. Additionally, mentor team members, provide leadership in decision-making processes, and contribute to the development of training programs to enhance workforce capabilities.
Develop comprehensive cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQ’s), and tender documentation in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
Oversee and manage project expenditures, financial allocations, and any deviations from established budgets to ensure fiscal accountability and efficiency.
Responsible for conducting thorough assessments of contractor claims and payment certificates to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
Perform detailed quantity take-offs and comprehensive cost analysis to support project planning and budgeting.
Deliver projects in strict adherence to allocated budgets and contractual obligations.
Compile comprehensive project cost reports and finalize accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is required.
Requires a minimum of three to five years of hands-on involvement in construction project execution.
Possesses comprehensive expertise in cost estimation, meticulous preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and adept contract administration.
Requires strong skills in Microsoft Excel and specialized quantity surveying software applications.
Proficient in analytical reasoning, negotiation strategies, and clear communication.
