As an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Teacher, your role will involve cultivating digital literacy and technical competencies in students through structured lesson planning and dynamic instruction. You will design and implement engaging curricula, oversee the maintenance of computer labs, and evaluate student performance systematically. Furthermore, you will oversee the functionality of software and hardware systems while fostering a culture of responsible and secure internet usage.

Oversee a comprehensive range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and team leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and fostering an environment of accountability and innovation. Develop, implement, and monitor departmental strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize productivity and enhance service delivery. Lead cross-functional teams by assigning clear roles, delegating tasks, and providing mentorship to cultivate talent and drive performance excellence. Serve as a key liaison between senior management and staff, facilitating transparent communication, resolving escalated issues, and championing collaborative decision-making processes. Analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and implement data-driven solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and achieve measurable business outcomes. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards while maintaining rigorous attention to quality and risk management.

Deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned with educational standards by planning and preparing meticulously to accommodate diverse learning styles.

You will instruct participants in fundamental digital skills, including proficiency with office productivity tools (such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace), cybersecurity best practices, and introductory programming languages (including Python and Scratch).

Assessment & Reporting: Develop assignments, quizzes, and practical tests to evaluate student progress; provide constructive feedback to support continuous growth.

Lab Management: Oversee the school’s computer laboratories, ensuring all hardware (computers, projectors, peripherals) is functional, secure, and well-maintained.

Acting as a mentor, you’ll provide student support by advising learners on ICT-related career opportunities and resolving technical challenges encountered during class projects.
