The Policy Support Intern will assist the Policy & Evidence-to-Action team in promoting evidence-based policymaking and fostering stakeholder engagement across IPA Nigeria’s key sectors, with a focus on Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE), financial inclusion, gender, governance, social protection, and inclusive development.

Oversee a comprehensive range of duties to ensure efficient project execution, including coordinating team efforts, managing timelines, and delivering high-quality results. Perform comprehensive desk reviews and systematic literature scans focusing on high-priority policy and development topics, encompassing gender equality, women’s economic empowerment (WEE), financial inclusion, governance, livelihoods, and social protection.

Assist in crafting policy briefs, evidence summaries, concept notes, presentations, and technical reports to support organizational objectives and strategic initiatives.

Collaborate with stakeholders from government and various sectors to translate research outcomes into actionable policy recommendations and programmatic strategies.

Collaborate in developing mappings of pertinent policies, frameworks, stakeholders, and institutional actors within designated sectors.
