Relocating to Sag amu, Gun State, the position is based at a manufacturing facility.

Job Purpose

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for directing and enhancing all warehouse operations, inventory management, and inbound/outbound logistics processes at our Sag amu facility. The successful candidate will guarantee smooth supply chain operations, uphold strict inventory precision, and guide the warehouse team to deliver exceptional operational performance.

Oversee and execute a diverse range of critical tasks, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and overall performance. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and drive sustainable growth. Monitor progress through key performance indicators, providing data-driven insights to leadership for informed decision-making. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous development while maintaining compliance with regulatory and ethical guidelines.

Responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of warehouse operations, such as the receipt, storage, distribution, and shipment of raw materials and finished products.

Inventory Control: Develop and oversee resilient inventory management frameworks to guarantee flawless precision, perform systematic stock audits, and reduce discrepancies and losses effectively.

Coordinate fleet operations, dispatch planning, and third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships to guarantee punctual deliveries to distributors and customers.

Strategically oversee warehouse layout and space allocation to enhance operational efficiency while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and maintaining a secure working environment.

Supervise, train, and assess warehouse staff, supervisors, and loaders, cultivating a workplace culture centered on safety and accountability.

Compliance and safety responsibilities include maintaining rigorous adherence to factory safety standards, health regulations, and company policies throughout all warehouse operations.

Regular reporting duties involve compiling and delivering detailed reports to senior management, outlining warehouse key performance indicators, logistics expenditures, and inventory conditions.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of five years of progressive experience in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic planning. Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and data modeling, is essential, along with experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary to translate complex financial data into actionable insights. Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting is also required. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of GAAP standards and regulatory compliance is highly preferred.

A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or an equivalent field is required.

With at least six to seven years of demonstrated expertise in warehouse and logistics management, ideally within a manufacturing or large-scale production facility, the ideal candidate will bring a strong background in optimizing operational workflows.

Proven expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solutions, including but not limited to SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics.

Exceptional leadership abilities, adeptness in conflict resolution, and a proven track record in people management are essential.

Proven capability to analyze complex situations, identify solutions efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Open to relocating to Sag amu, where company-managed housing will be provided.
