We seek a dedicated housekeeper to strengthen our cleaning team. In this role, you will maintain common areas, remove waste, replace linens, and promptly report maintenance concerns. Candidates must possess the physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and demonstrate a keen attention to cleanliness standards.

Hiring Manager seeks a motivated professional to manage daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The role involves supervising staff, optimizing workflows, and maintaining high standards of efficiency and customer satisfaction. Additional duties include preparing reports, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align with organizational goals is essential, along with addressing operational challenges and fostering a productive work environment. Utilizes a vacuum cleaner, broom, and carpet shampoo machine to thoroughly clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.

Maintains cleanliness in guest rooms, corridors, and restrooms, ensuring all areas are sanitized and presentable for use.

Washes walls and ceilings, relocates furniture, and flips mattresses as needed.

Responsibilities include performing sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing of floors to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.

Dusts metal surfaces and applies polish to maintain their finish and appearance.

Responsible for gathering used linens for processing and laundering purposes.

Linen supplies were retrieved from floor shoots.

Responsible for keeping housekeeping carts organized and stocked.

Collects and disposes of waste materials from the pantries located on each floor, ensuring all areas remain clean and free of debris.

At the start and conclusion of each shift, traverse all designated floors to gather discarded newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, and solid linens.

Collect and transport clean linens, then restock the par levels of linen in each floor pantry.

Deliver towels, cribs, cots and other items to the guest rooms on requests.

Execute room attendant responsibilities as needed when staffing or operational requirements arise.

Organize and maintain linen supplies in stockroom closets as a stockroom attendant.

Restock guest amenities and supplies in each floor pantry to maintain the required par level.

Perform thorough cleaning of all public spaces in strict accordance with established departmental protocols and standard operating procedures.

Collect and transport soiled linen and waste materials from the poolside and additional service areas to designated disposal sites, following established procedures and protocols.

Report any instances of missing items, found articles, damage, or merchandise issues promptly to the housekeeping supervisors.

Maintain a consistently friendly and supportive demeanor when engaging with guests and fellow team members at all times.

In the event of an employee’s absence, the incumbent will assume their duties and responsibilities temporarily to ensure uninterrupted workflow and operational continuity. This role requires adaptability, reliability, and the capacity to perform tasks efficiently without prior notice. The temporary assignment may involve a wide range of responsibilities, depending on the absent employee’s position and the needs of the department. Strong communication skills and the ability to quickly integrate into new tasks are essential for success in this role.

Complete any tasks delegated by supervisors promptly and as required.

Ensure compliance with the established Hotels Dress Code Policy by arriving at work in the mandated uniform.

Able to function both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.

Housekeeper Requirements: Candidates must possess at least one year of relevant experience in housekeeping or a comparable field. Proficiency in standard cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols is essential. Strong organizational and time-management skills are necessary to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent attention to detail ensures high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, integrity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina and the capacity to perform repetitive motions for extended periods are required. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and their proper usage is a must. The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, is crucial for coordinating with staff and addressing client needs. A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is typically required.

A relevant academic background in an appropriate field of study is required.

With a proven track record in housekeeping roles within the hospitality sector, you bring valuable hands-on experience to ensure pristine cleanliness and guest satisfaction in fast-paced environments.
