Job Summary
We are in search of a skilled Quantity Surveyor to oversee project expenditures, generate precise cost estimates, track financial allocations, and uphold cost-efficient project execution.
Oversee and execute critical operational duties to ensure seamless business functions, including managing daily workflows, coordinating team activities, and maintaining high standards of productivity. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, optimize processes, and drive organizational growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives, foster innovation, and achieve departmental targets. Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, and continuous learning. Prepare and present reports to senior management, summarizing progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
Develop comprehensive cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQ’s), and tender documentation.
Track expenditures, oversee financial allocations, and manage any deviations in costs and budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
Review contractor claims and payment certificates to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards and agreements.
Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis to assess project requirements and financial implications accurately.
Deliver projects while strictly adhering to approved budgets and meeting all contractual obligations.
Compile project cost reports and final accounts meticulously to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a closely related discipline is required.
Possesses a minimum of three to five years of hands-on involvement in construction project execution.
Proven expertise in cost estimation, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation, and contract administration is essential for this role.
Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Excel and specialized quantity surveying software with a high degree of skill and accuracy.
Exceptional proficiency in analysis, negotiation, and communication is essential.
