Offer comprehensive psycho-social assistance and deliver psychological first aid to survivors, addressing their emotional and mental health needs with compassion and expertise.
Deliver compassionate, survivor-focused case management services on a daily basis to Gender-Based Violence survivors and those at risk, ensuring their needs are prioritized throughout the process.
Evaluate survivors’ needs, formulate an action plan, execute the plan, monitor progress, and finalize the case in accordance with GBV case management standard operating procedures and guidelines.
Cases are documented utilizing the Intake and Assessment form.
Ensure the execution of plans by proactively engaging with survivors and relevant partners to verify implementation.
Ensure that all case management procedures are strictly adhered to, with referrals and documentation completed promptly and appropriately at every stage.
As needed, participate in meetings focused on gender-based violence (GBV) initiatives to contribute to discussions and decision-making processes.
Consistently update documentation and oversee the database for all recorded cases, action plans, and follow-up visits using the BRIMS.
Actively cultivate and sustain productive collaborations with key case management stakeholders, encompassing government entities, United Nations agencies, non-governmental organizations, and other pertinent actors in the field.
Deliver referrals for survivors of gender-based violence to a range of essential services, such as child protection agencies, sexual and reproductive health facilities, and specialized mental health programs. Where necessary, accompany survivors to appointments and perform follow-up checks to verify that they have received the appropriate support and services.
Ensures adherence to and enforcement of survivor-centered approach guiding principles when engaging with survivors, particularly within secure environments designed for women and girls.
Convene recurring case conference meetings to deliberate on complex cases and guarantee survivors are provided with high-quality services in a dignified manner.
Deliver targeted capacity-building initiatives and specialized training to Protection Volunteers, focusing on key protection themes such as Child Protection, Gender-Based Violence, protection mainstreaming, and the confidentiality of protection data.
Ensure the secure storage, protection, and management of sensitive information in strict adherence to international confidentiality standards and privacy regulations.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly activity reports to the supervisor for review.
Any challenges or delays encountered during the execution of tasks must be promptly communicated to the direct supervisor for immediate attention and resolution.
Representing PUB at all times and in all locations during scheduled duty hours is essential.
Provide support for operations within the women’s and girls’ safe space, contributing to its daily activities and initiatives.

The Case Management Officer will oversee the operations of the safe space dedicated to women and girls, ensuring its effective management and functionality, while receiving guidance and assistance from the Protection Supervisor.
