Job Summary

We are in search of a proficient and committed Auto Mechanic to become part of our automobile manufacturing workforce. The ideal applicant will handle the assembly, inspection, testing, diagnosis, and repair of vehicle systems and components to guarantee that all vehicles adhere to the company’s established quality, safety, and performance benchmarks.

Oversee a range of critical responsibilities, including the management of daily operations to ensure seamless workflow efficiency and adherence to organizational standards. Develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with long-term business objectives while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Lead cross-functional teams by providing clear direction, mentorship, and performance feedback to drive productivity and professional growth. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities for process optimization and resource allocation, ultimately enhancing overall operational effectiveness. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies through diligent monitoring and proactive risk mitigation strategies. Serve as a key liaison between departments, promoting open communication and alignment to support unified organizational goals.

Assemble and install mechanical components and systems in vehicles throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring precision and alignment to meet production standards.

Perform thorough inspections, diagnose issues, and conduct functional tests on vehicles and automotive systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Proactively diagnose mechanical malfunctions and perform essential repairs and adjustments to restore optimal functionality.

Perform comprehensive repairs and upkeep of engines, transmissions, suspension systems, braking systems, steering systems, and additional vehicle components to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Employ diagnostic instruments and machinery to identify and resolve mechanical malfunctions systematically.

Maintain strict adherence to the organization’s established quality benchmarks and occupational safety protocols throughout all operational activities.

Partner with engineering, quality control, and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges effectively.

Accurately document all inspection outcomes, repair actions, and maintenance tasks performed to ensure comprehensive and up-to-date records.

Adhere to established standard operating procedures and comply with manufacturer specifications.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness in work areas, tools, and equipment.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats. Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail are required to ensure accuracy in all tasks. Candidates must demonstrate adaptability in fast-paced environments and a commitment to continuous learning to stay current with evolving industry standards.

A minimum qualification of Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Trade Test Certificate, Technical College Certificate, or an equivalent credential in Automobile Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.

A minimum of two to five years of hands-on experience as an Auto Mechanic within an automobile manufacturing facility, automotive repair shop, or vehicle maintenance operation is required.

Possesses comprehensive expertise in vehicle systems, engine diagnostics, and automotive repair methodologies.

Proficiency in analyzing and comprehending technical manuals, schematics, and specifications is required.

Proficient in using automotive diagnostic tools and equipment, with a solid understanding of their applications and functions.

Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues through systematic analysis and logical reasoning is essential.

Effectively collaborates within a team environment and demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster productive working relationships.

Attention to detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality workmanship are essential attributes for this role.

Professional certifications in automotive repair or maintenance are highly beneficial.
