Development and execution of comprehensive medical training programs are essential responsibilities, encompassing the design, organization, and delivery of educational initiatives to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Regularly evaluating competencies and learning requirements in collaboration with the medical team enables the identification of training deficiencies and skill gaps, thereby facilitating the design of targeted learning interventions for ongoing professional development initiatives.

Working closely with the project’s medical team, the position evaluates and ranks training requirements for medical and hospital staff.

Collaborate with the MAM, NAM, WASH, IPC, PMR, and LF training teams to review, finalize, and align training materials seamlessly.

Develop and execute extensive training initiatives tailored to nursing professionals and nursing assistants.

Collaborate with subject-matter specialists to develop customized training programs that address the hospital’s unique requirements, encompassing infection control protocols, clinical procedures, and patient care protocols.

Experienced professionals are responsible for designing, leading, and delivering training sessions, workshops, and simulations for medical and paramedical personnel, utilizing teaching materials provided by Médecins sans frontières (MSF) and employing effective adult learning methodologies.

Organizes and oversees all aspects of practical training, including venue preparation, equipment and materials provision, participant management, and attendance tracking.

Employ multiple training methodologies, such as classroom instruction, practical application, and digital learning modules, to deliver comprehensive education.

Deliver personalized coaching and bedside instruction to staff as necessary to strengthen critical competencies and knowledge.

Deliver training sessions that are dynamic, stimulating, and tailored to accommodate diverse learning preferences to staff members.

The Co collaborates with the LF training team throughout the project to facilitate training sessions.

Provide consistent updates regarding the advancement, obstacles, and results of training initiatives.

Employ practical instructional methods, including clinical case studies and simulations, as taught in the methodology for hands-on workshops.

Leverage the expertise gained from external training programs, such as TOF, to enhance instructional methods and curriculum delivery.

We lead and guide sessions to ensure productive and engaging discussions.

In partnership with the LF training team facilitators, you will work collaboratively on the project.

Work closely with the L&D training team at headquarters, ensuring regular feedback is shared by including MAM and PMR in the communication.

The project facilitator doctor, in collaboration with the nurse facilitator, oversees the logistical execution of training programs, supported by administrative, HR, and medical leadership. This includes coordinating room rentals, equipment provision, participant recovery periods, and, when applicable, certificate issuance. Additionally, they contribute to developing a detailed training schedule—both pre-peak and during high-demand periods—outlining topics, duration, dates, participant details (names and counts), and assigned medical speakers. Given the critical role of the medical team in these sessions, their active engagement is essential to upholding and enhancing care quality standards.

Contributes to the execution of the training strategy by delivering medical topics, conducting case analyses, and facilitating risk management meetings (RMM) on an ongoing basis.

Facilitates the organization and delivery of recurring hands-on training sessions, which may include simulations, workshops, video evaluations, practical exercises featuring triage scenarios with manikins, and interactive role-playing between patients and caregivers.

Conducting follow-up sessions to reinforce training outcomes and ensure knowledge retention among participants.

Assist in centralizing and harmonizing norms, standards, guidelines, and work tools to foster a cohesive knowledge base.

Enhance the competencies of medical and paramedical personnel through structured, consistent support, including weekly team-based sessions and one-on-one coaching such as bedside instruction and educational workshops.

Professional Rewriting:

Engages in the development and delivery of recurring training sessions and workshops tailored for recruitment phases.

Facilitate and conduct interactive learning sessions, including simulations, for participants.

Assess the impact of training initiatives by analyzing feedback surveys, conducting skills evaluations, and performing direct observation to measure performance outcomes.

Develops and executes a structured training schedule tailored to both peak and off-peak periods, meticulously detailing each session’s subject, time allocation, scheduled dates, as well as the anticipated number and identities of participants.

Revise training plans in response to feedback and ongoing assessments to maintain and enhance continuous improvement efforts.

Develop and maintain an up-to-date Logbook for every participant, ensuring all entries are accurately recorded and regularly reviewed to reflect the latest status.

Conduct thorough evaluations of mortality cases to identify trends, assess the quality of care provided, and implement measures to enhance patient safety and clinical outcomes. Analyze case data, review medical records, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine root causes of adverse events. Present findings in clear, actionable reports to stakeholders, and recommend evidence-based interventions to mitigate risks and improve healthcare delivery.

The incumbent assists with mortality, morbidity, and medical review processes for the week’s death files, collaborating closely with the NAM, MAM, and medical team to ensure thorough and accurate evaluations.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution. Advanced degrees or specialized certifications are strongly preferred, depending on the role’s specific demands. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education for certain positions.

Candidates must hold a valid Medical Degree to be considered for this position.

Experienced candidates will demonstrate a proven track record in the specified field, with at least [X] years of relevant work experience.
