You will deliver professional message and body treatment services to guests, utilizing props, products, body scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy as needed. Prior to each session, you will evaluate guest requirements while screening for potential contraindications such as allergies, high blood pressure, or pregnancy. To ensure high-quality care, you will stay informed about emerging techniques and industry best practices within your specialty. Additionally, you will guide guests to and from treatment areas, prepare and arrange workstations, treatment rooms, and draping materials, and consistently check in to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout the service. You will also actively promote and sell spa or salon services, including retail products available at the Spa. Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, and sterilizing tools, maintaining a tidy workstation and treatment room, disposing of waste and soiled linens, and securing supplies and equipment at the end of each shift. You must adhere to established time schedules, manage guest interactions professionally, and follow Marriott International’s standard operating procedures for addressing inappropriate conduct—including the authority to pause or terminate a service when necessary and notify a supervisor or manager. Furthermore, you will maintain all required certifications and licenses in compliance with regional regulations to uphold service standards.
Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions immediately to management and complete all required safety training and certifications. Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures while ensuring that uniforms and personal presentation adhere to professional standards. Safeguard proprietary information and company assets with the utmost discretion. Greet and acknowledge guests in accordance with company guidelines, proactively identifying and addressing their service needs while expressing genuine gratitude upon their departure. Communicate with others using clear, courteous, and professional language. Cultivate and sustain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization. Sustain prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking while performing tasks that demand precise hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, including grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying sizes and weights. Transport, elevate, carry, push, pull, or position objects weighing up to 10 pounds independently. Execute additional job-related duties as assigned by supervisors, as reasonably required.
