Job Summary
The role will encompass full ownership of the web and mobile platforms that customers depend on for sending, tracking, and managing their cross-border payments.

Oversee and execute core duties encompassing project management, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of objectives. Develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures that align with organizational goals while monitoring progress and addressing any deviations. Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development to enhance individual and team capabilities. Manage budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and optimize processes to maximize productivity and cost-effectiveness. Design and develop responsive web applications alongside cross-platform mobile apps.
Oversee the technical direction for frontend development, including architecture planning, state management strategies, performance optimization, and component design methodologies.
Translate intricate financial processes—including FX quotes, fund transfers, KYC procedures, and transaction histories—into seamless, user-friendly interfaces that convey clarity and reliability.
Develop and sustain a unified component library and cohesive design system, ensuring consistency across both web and mobile platforms.
Develop robust, seamless integrations with backend APIs and facilitate real-time payment processing systems.
Deliver exceptional performance, accessibility, and reliability for all customer-facing interfaces. Ensure these platforms meet high standards of functionality, usability, and availability to provide a seamless user experience. Maintain consistent uptime and responsiveness while optimizing for performance across all touchpoints.
Collaborate closely with design and product teams to help define, rather than merely execute, the user experience.
Requirements
With a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in frontend engineering, you bring deep expertise in building intuitive and high-performance user interfaces.
Proven, hands-on proficiency with Vue.js is essential, with a track record of successfully implementing scalable applications and delivering high-impact solutions using the framework.
Demonstrated proficiency in React with a proven track record of implementation is essential.
Seasoned in developing and deploying mobile applications using React Native, with a strong track record of production-level work.
A demonstrated expertise in state management, seamless API integration, and responsive design principles is required.
Demonstrates a strong aptitude for transforming intricate workflows into intuitive, functional user interfaces.
Demonstrates a keen understanding of user experience principles and meticulous attention to detail when developing user-facing products.
Bonus points:
Proficiency in fintech platforms or products characterized by high transaction volumes is required.
Seasoned expertise in TypeScript is required, along with a solid understanding of contemporary development tooling, particularly Site.
Skilled in developing and implementing design systems or component libraries is required.
