Oversee a range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, team leadership, and operational execution to drive organizational success. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align goals, streamline processes, and ensure adherence to established policies and regulatory standards. Direct day-to-day operations, monitor performance metrics, and implement data-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. Serve as the primary liaison for stakeholders, fostering transparent communication and building strong partnerships to support long-term growth. Additionally, mentor team members, identify skill gaps, and provide targeted development opportunities to cultivate a high-performing workforce.

Oversee the routine functioning of all utility systems, such as boilers, compressors, chillers, generators, water treatment facilities, and HVAC units.

Maintain an uninterrupted and optimized flow of utilities to sustain production operations effectively.

Monitor equipment functionality and enforce structured preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure optimal operational efficiency.

Provide leadership and strategic direction to a team comprising technicians and operators, ensuring effective coordination and collaboration among all members.

Investigate and resolve utility-related problems promptly to reduce operational disruptions.

Responsible for documenting utility usage, maintenance actions, and system functionality with precision.

Maintain adherence to all safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and internal company policies without exception.

Drive the implementation of energy efficiency programs and cost-saving measures to optimize resource utilization and financial performance.

Serve as the primary point of contact to coordinate with external vendors and contractors, ensuring all specialized maintenance and repair activities are executed efficiently and to the required standards.

Engage in audits and inspections as needed to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines is required. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is also expected.

An HND in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification in a related engineering discipline is required.

Minimum three years of hands-on experience in utility operations within an FMCG or manufacturing setting is required.

Proficient in the operation and maintenance of industrial utility systems, including steam, compressed air, water systems, refrigeration, and power generation.

Possesses a solid understanding of maintenance planning and execution processes.

Proven ability to lead teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring optimal performance and cohesion.

Possesses a foundational understanding of health, safety, and environmental protocols.

Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in analyzing complex issues and making informed, timely decisions to resolve challenges effectively.

A strong command of Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with maintenance management systems are beneficial.
