Job Summary
We are in search of a seasoned and technically proficient ELF IT System Support specialist to oversee our integrated smart building and security infrastructure. The preferred candidate will effectively connect traditional IT networking with physical security systems, guaranteeing optimal uptime, robust system security, and seamless end-user functionality across all ELF and IT platforms.
Performs a diverse range of duties essential to the role, including managing daily operations, overseeing project execution, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align goals, streamlines workflows, and fosters an environment of accountability and innovation. Maintains accurate records, prepares detailed reports, and communicates progress to stakeholders to support informed decision-making. Supports team development through mentorship, training, and performance evaluations, while upholding company policies and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Install, maintain, and configure ELF (Extra Low Voltage) systems, encompassing CCTV, access control solutions, fire alarm networks, public address (PA) systems, and structured cabling infrastructure, ensuring optimal functionality and reliability.
Responsibilities include overseeing IP-based security systems, configuring routers and switches, and resolving issues within local area networks (LAN/Wi-Fi) that support ELF systems.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults, as well as connectivity issues, promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
Assist with the integration, testing, and commissioning of new low-voltage systems and smart building upgrades.
Offer expert technical guidance and continuous assistance to personnel or clients regarding installed ELF systems and IT infrastructure.
Maintain accurate documentation of all repair activities and scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.
Conduct in-depth trend analyses to generate comprehensive reports that support informed decision-making processes.
Seeking a candidate with a strong educational background in a relevant field, complemented by exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal applicant will possess prior experience in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in key responsibilities. A bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science is required.
A minimum of three to five years of practical experience in maintaining IT networks and ELF security systems is required.
Possesses a comprehensive grasp of TCP/IP protocols, routing mechanisms, switching technologies, and IT infrastructure components, including servers, switches, and storage systems.
Proficient in CCTV systems, including IP and analog configurations, VMS platforms, access control panels, and intercom technologies.
Proven expertise in diagnosing issues with precision, coupled with a keen eye for detail, and a talent for distilling intricate technical information into clear, accessible language for non-technical stakeholders.
Ensures meticulous attention to detail in all tasks and responsibilities.
Proven ability to foster and maintain effective professional relationships through clear communication, active listening, and collaboration is essential.
