The Accounting Supervisor oversees financial and accounting operations specific to the pure water production sector, guaranteeing precise financial reporting, strict cost management, inventory tracking, and adherence to both corporate policies and regulatory obligations.

Core responsibilities include executing key duties to achieve operational objectives and ensure organizational success. This role demands active participation in strategic initiatives, meticulous project management, and consistent delivery of high-quality results. You will be accountable for overseeing critical processes, fostering collaboration across teams, and maintaining adherence to established policies and standards. Additionally, the position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, effective communication with stakeholders, and continuous improvement of workflows to enhance efficiency.

Oversee the day-to-day accounting functions for the pure water manufacturing and distribution enterprise.

Diligently track and document every sales transaction arising from the production and distribution of sachet water.

Responsibilities include overseeing the collection of payments from distributors, vendors, and sales agents to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.

Maintain accurate and thorough documentation for all expenditures, procurement activities, and operational expenses.

Track production expenses, raw material expenditures, packaging costs, and inventory consumption with precision and attention to detail.

Track and oversee inventory levels for nylon rolls, bags, treatment chemicals, labels, fuel, and additional production materials to ensure adequate supply and operational efficiency.

Daily reconciliation of sales figures, cash deposits, and bank transactions is required.

Compile and submit financial reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for executive evaluation and strategic decision-making.

Monitor and analyze all expenditures related to factory operations, encompassing diesel consumption, generator upkeep, repair services, transportation logistics, and staffing expenditures.

Examine supplier invoices thoroughly and ensure timely and accurate processing of payments in accordance with established procedures.

Monitor accounts receivable and promptly pursue outstanding payments from distributors and customers to ensure timely collection and financial stability.

Provide support to leadership in the development of budgets, conduct cost analyses, and prepare profitability reports.

Prepare payroll with precision for both factory personnel and administrative employees.

Establish robust internal financial controls aimed at mitigating the risks of fraud, wastage, and financial leakages.

Responsible for overseeing regular stock counts and reconciling inventory discrepancies to ensure accuracy and alignment with records.

Maintain adherence to tax regulations, statutory deductions, and established financial policies.

Assist external auditors by preparing and supplying all necessary accounting documentation as requested.

Responsible for overseeing junior accounting and cashier personnel while ensuring strict adherence to established financial protocols and procedures.

Assess production and sales data to identify opportunities for enhancing profitability and operational efficiency.

Safeguard all proprietary financial data and ensure strict adherence to confidentiality protocols concerning the organization’s financial records.

Execute additional finance and administrative responsibilities as designated by senior leadership.

Candidates must meet the following qualifications to be considered for this position. Proficiency in written and verbal communication in both English and Spanish is essential. A minimum of three years of experience in a comparable professional setting is required. Applicants should possess strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is mandatory. Candidates must exhibit a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.

Education requirements include possession of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Candidates should possess between two and ten years of professional experience in accounting and warehouse operations, with remuneration commensurate to the depth of their expertise.

Computer literacy encompasses a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Additionally, expertise in digital collaboration tools such as Teams, WhatsApp, and Zoom is required.
