We are in search of a high-performing, client-centric Business Development Executive to spearhead sales expansion and strengthen market penetration for our Medical Consumables, Hospital Equipment & Furniture, and Patient Aids/Mobility Rehabilitation Aids offerings across the Lagos Island territory.

The ideal candidate will proactively seek out new business prospects, nurture existing client relationships, and actively promote products to drive sales performance. In addition, they will consistently meet or exceed established sales targets while maintaining a high standard of customer service excellence.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, foster innovation, and drive sustainable growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives, resolve challenges, and deliver high-quality outcomes in alignment with organizational goals. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data trends, and present actionable insights to senior leadership to support informed decision-making. Maintain robust communication channels with stakeholders to facilitate transparency, resolve escalations, and uphold accountability across all projects and processes.

Prospect and connect with potential customers through strategic cold calling initiatives, active networking efforts, strategic referrals, and impactful social selling campaigns.

Educate healthcare institutions and other prospective clients about the product’s features, benefits, and unique value propositions through engaging demonstrations and presentations.

Skilled in finalizing pricing agreements, structuring contract terms, and securing sales opportunities to consistently meet or surpass predetermined sales objectives.

Develop and nurture enduring customer relationships to drive satisfaction, foster loyalty, and secure recurring business opportunities.

Stay current with detailed expertise in designated product categories while tracking competitor actions and evolving market dynamics.

Compile and deliver weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and performance summaries for review and analysis.

Partner with cross-functional teams to guarantee orders are processed and delivered punctually while exceeding customer expectations.

Drive efforts to expand market presence and uncover avenues for boosting customer adoption across the entire product portfolio.

Seeking candidates with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in the field, possessing a relevant degree or equivalent certification. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication skills are required to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders. Prior experience in project management or leadership roles is highly desirable. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

A bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or an equivalent discipline is required.

Established track record in sales representation within the medical equipment, medical consumables, or healthcare sectors.

Proven knowledge of medical supplies, hospital machinery and furniture, as well as patient care and mobility rehabilitation devices.
