A meticulous and results-driven professional is required to fill the Quality Control Associate position within the Production team. This critical role functions as the last line of defense in the production workflow, guaranteeing that every garment complies with the company’s stringent quality benchmarks.

The successful applicant will conduct thorough product inspections, meticulously identify any defects, and actively contribute to enhancing production quality through continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities encompass managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations, and overseeing project timelines to meet organizational objectives. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to align goals, fostering innovation through strategic initiatives, and driving continuous improvement in processes. Additionally, the position requires monitoring team performance, providing constructive feedback, and addressing any operational challenges to maintain productivity and efficiency. Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills are essential to execute these duties successfully.

Performing comprehensive evaluations of garments at multiple production phases, meticulously examining stitching quality, finishing details, sizing accuracy, and overall construction integrity.

Proactively detecting and documenting defects, including fabric flaws, inconsistent dye application, mismatched trims, substandard workmanship, or absent labels.

Responsibilities include overseeing dyed fabrics to verify adherence to approved color and pattern specifications.

Promptly notifying the dye and production teams of any identified issues to facilitate timely corrections.

Accurate documentation of quality control activities, including records of inspections, identified defects, and resulting outcomes, is essential.

Preparing and sharing regular reports highlighting recurring issues and production trends.

Ensuring prompt communication of feedback to tailors, dyers, and production personnel regarding quality issues as they arise.

Provide troubleshooting assistance and propose solutions to mitigate recurring defects.

Conducting meticulous inspections to verify that garments are meticulously pressed, accurately labeled, and securely packaged in strict adherence to established brand protocols.

Assessing processes to uncover opportunities for improvement, thereby boosting production efficiency and quality.

Supporting various operational functions and contributing to the efficiency of overall production processes.

Person Specifications

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or higher national diploma (HND) in a relevant field, or an equivalent professional qualification, is required.

A minimum of five years of professional experience is required.

A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a production capacity within the fashion or manufacturing sector is required.

Demonstrates exceptional precision and keen observational abilities in all tasks.

Excellent skills in creating detailed documentation and producing comprehensive reports are essential.

Skilled in articulate expression and fostering productive professional relationships.

Exceptional proficiency in problem-solving and analytical reasoning is essential.

Proven capability to deliver results effectively within tight deadlines and high-pressure environments.
