Job Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the food production company, guaranteeing precise financial reporting, adherence to accounting regulations, and strategic financial planning. This position entails collaborating closely with leadership to facilitate business expansion, implement cost-saving measures, and enhance overall operational effectiveness.

Oversee primary duties including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring deliverables meet established standards. Compile and oversee financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards.

Oversee daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts, while ensuring the accuracy of all records.

Oversee all accounts payable and receivable functions to guarantee prompt payments and collections.

Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Oversee production expenditures, raw materials, and overhead costs to maintain precise cost accounting.

Perform comprehensive financial evaluations to detect emerging patterns, discrepancies, and opportunities for enhancing cost efficiency.

Ensure adherence to all taxation obligations, statutory reporting obligations, and other relevant regulatory mandates.

Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as needed.

Develop and sustain robust internal control frameworks specifically designed to oversee and manage financial transactions with precision and reliability.

Partner with leadership to formulate financial strategies, evaluate investment opportunities, and align business initiatives with organizational goals.

Ensure effective oversight and mentorship of accounting personnel, including staff and assistants, as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of five years of progressive experience in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, or a related discipline, with at least two years in a leadership role.

• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across global teams.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans that enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
