Action Against Hunger | ACF Nigeria LTD/GTE  · NGO / Non-Profit Associations

Full Time Borno
Borno
Deadline: 25 June 2026
Posted June 17, 2026

Action Against Hunger Nigeria (ACF Nigeria) LTD/LTE, a global humanitarian and development organization, combats the root causes and consequences of hunger across more than 50 countries worldwide, including Nigeria. Since its establishment in 2010, ACF Nigeria has focused on addressing chronic food insecurity and malnutrition in Northeast Nigeria, where a severe humanitarian crisis—driven by insecurity, forced displacement, natural disasters, climate change, and economic shocks—has taken hold.

ACF Nigeria, in collaboration with its partners—BO WDI, YIP DI, Save the Children (SC), and EYE—has been executing the Empowering and Nurturing Resilience, Integration, and Community Health (ENRICH) initiative, funded by the U.S. Department of State. Over the past 24 months, this program has delivered critical lifesaving and recovery support to vulnerable communities across Born State, with a particular focus on Rubio, Maguire, Mobber, and Saga Local Government Areas (Gas), positively impacting approximately 714,045 individuals.

The primary goals of these initiatives focus on delivering measurable outcomes while ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. Key objectives encompass advancing innovation, optimizing efficiency, and fostering sustainable growth across designated areas. Additionally, the projects aim to enhance collaboration among stakeholders, strengthen operational frameworks, and drive impactful results that contribute to long-term organizational success.

Enhanced health and nutrition services are implemented to mitigate morbidity and mortality rates effectively.

Strengthening household food security involves delivering unconditional food or cash assistance during both lean and off-lean seasons to populations affected by conflict.

Integrated WASH interventions are implemented to strengthen the resilience of households, communities, and systems against shocks in Born.

Improved protection services are accessible to affected populations, thereby enhancing community resilience.

ACF, in collaboration with its partners, advances food security, enhances access to superior health and nutrition services, and strengthens resilience within vulnerable communities through its multi-sectoral strategies. The organization’s primary objective is to elevate nutrition security, diminish mortality and morbidity rates—particularly among children under five—and foster community empowerment for sustainable thriving.

ACF Nigeria, following 20 months of executing this project, aims to create a documentary highlighting the progress and impact achieved in communities across target locations in Born State under the ENRICH initiative. In pursuit of this objective, ACF Nigeria invites applications from skilled service providers—including journalists, videographers, digital documentary producers, and similar professionals—with expertise in documentary production within community settings, particularly in Born State. The geographical scope of coverage encompasses Born and Lobe States in Nigeria’s North-East region.
