Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or business administration, along with at least three years of professional experience in a related role. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, project management, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings to stakeholders. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards is also required. Additionally, the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Financial Management, Accounting, Public Finance, or a related operational discipline—such as Supply Chain, Human Resources, Information Technology, International Business, or Project Management—is mandatory for this role. Holding a professional license from a globally recognized institution is considered advantageous.
A minimum of two years of professional experience at the national and/or international level is required, with a focus in one or more areas of operations management such as budgeting, financial management and reporting, facilities management, administration, supply and logistics management, information and communication technology, or human resources.
Required skills include strong emotional intelligence, financial assurance, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Additionally, the ability to provide technical support and manage complexity and change is essential.
Fluent proficiency in English is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Desirables
Proficiency in another official United Nations language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) or a local language is required.
Proficiency in corporate ERP systems and IPSA, along with hands-on experience in large private or public sector organizations, enhances this role. Exposure to private sector fundraising initiatives and a track record in supporting client-focused operational units are considered advantageous.
