Job Purpose
The MEAL Officer will spearhead monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning initiatives to uphold project execution quality, precise progress tracking, data-driven decision-making, and adherence to donor stipulations. This role involves conducting on-site assessments, assisting with report preparation, and fostering institutional learning.
Oversee and execute essential duties including managing daily operations, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance productivity, improve efficiency, and drive organizational growth. Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with senior leadership to align initiatives with company goals and foster a culture of accountability and innovation. Additionally, maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
We are responsible for designing and executing Project MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) plans, along with creating indicator tracking tables and establishing performance monitoring frameworks.
To guarantee precise gathering, validation, and interpretation of project data, as well as the preparation of comprehensive reports, meticulous attention to detail and adherence to established protocols are essential.
Regular field monitoring visits are conducted to evaluate progress, ensure quality standards, and verify compliance with established protocols.
Track progress toward project deliverables, outcomes, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with established objectives and targets.
Execute baseline, midline, and Edline assessments, surveys, and evaluations to systematically measure progress and impact.
Conduct regular data verification and validation exercises to uphold data quality standards.
Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to provide comprehensive financial and operational insights. Ensure accuracy and consistency in data collection, analysis, and presentation to support strategic decision-making. Prepare detailed reports that highlight key performance indicators, trends, and variances for management review. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and validate data integrity. Meet strict deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with reporting guidelines.
Collect and systematically log all feedback obtained from various community groups for future reference and analysis.
Conduct comprehensive learning reviews and facilitate reflective meetings to assess progress and enhance outcomes.
Deliver expert technical assistance in Monitoring and Evaluation methodologies to ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting.
