We seek a motivated and meticulous workshop supervisor to oversee the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of our collision repair facility, encompassing panel beating and spray-painting services.

Responsibilities include managing daily operations, coordinating team activities, ensuring project deadlines are met, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Duties involve conducting performance evaluations, addressing employee concerns, and implementing policies to foster a productive work environment. Additionally, the role requires overseeing budgets, analyzing financial data, and optimizing resource allocation to support organizational goals.

Each week, the incumbent is tasked with compiling and submitting detailed technical reports on workshops to Management. These reports must be delivered on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, ensuring comprehensive documentation of workshop activities and outcomes.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive action plan and provide regular status updates for all vehicles currently undergoing service in the workshop.
Technical support is provided for intricate diagnostic challenges encountered by the workshop team.
To enhance efficiency and minimize recurring issues, provide clear direction and consistent oversight to ensure technicians complete their assigned tasks effectively.
Enhance team performance by delivering insightful reports and fostering clear, consistent communication throughout the organization.
Responsibilities include managing and directing the daily activities of the workshop, ensuring efficient workflow, adherence to safety protocols, and optimal resource utilization.
Maintain all tools and equipment to enhance work quality through regular audits of hand tools, ensuring immediate replenishment when needed, while strictly enforcing PPE compliance in the workshop.
Before deliveries, a thorough final inspection of all repairs is conducted to ensure adherence to quality standards. This critical step verifies that all repairs meet specified requirements and are completed to the highest standards. The inspector carefully examines each repair, confirming that all work has been executed correctly and that no defects remain. This process helps maintain customer satisfaction and ensures that only fully functional and reliable products are delivered.
Ensure the attainment of projected profitability targets within the allocated budget.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of five years of experience in software development, preferably in a leadership role. Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, as is experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions are also necessary. Candidates must demonstrate experience with Agile methodologies and have a solid understanding of software development best practices.
A valid driver’s license and the capacity to operate a vehicle are essential prerequisites for this position.
With a minimum of three years of direct, practical experience in leading and supervising teams within a workshop environment, candidates should demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record of managing workflows efficiently.
A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, Automotive Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
Proficiency in computer applications is considered a beneficial skill.
