What You’ll Do

Ensure the meticulous maintenance of precise and up-to-date financial records for all projects to uphold the integrity of our books.

Oversee project budgets by meticulously tracking, monitoring, and reporting program expenditures to ensure financial accuracy and accountability.

Support the preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual submissions, for both management and donor audiences.

Responsible for reconciling bank statements and overseeing cash transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Guarantee adherence to donor stipulations, organizational policies, and established financial standards.

Collaborate closely with program staff to ensure every Naira is meticulously tracked and reported with complete transparency.

Enhance the robustness of internal controls and foster a culture of accountability throughout the organization.

What We’re Looking For

A qualification such as a Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field is required.

A minimum of one year of professional experience in accounting or finance is required, with internships and volunteer roles considered acceptable forms of this experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with a strong working knowledge of its functions and features, and familiarity with accounting software considered an asset.

Proficiency in NGO financial systems or adherence to donor compliance requirements is considered a plus.

Detail-oriented, reliable, and dedicated to maintaining clear and open communication throughout all operations.

A proactive individual with a passion for problem-solving, eager to contribute to a fast-paced and evolving NGO setting while continuously expanding their knowledge and skills.
