Summary

ARISE is in search of a proactive and meticulously organized Project Coordinator to oversee the full project lifecycle—from strategic planning and seamless coordination to flawless execution, rigorous monitoring, and comprehensive reporting—across Born and Lobe States.

This position will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of ARISE interventions across key areas, including peace building, youth and women empowerment, livelihoods, civic engagement, and community resilience in conflict-affected regions.

The Project Coordinator will collaborate closely with field teams, partners, and senior leadership to facilitate the effective execution of projects, ensuring alignment with donor requirements and the realization of intended objectives.

Oversee the implementation of strategies to enhance organizational efficiency and productivity, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. Develop and execute comprehensive operational plans, including resource allocation, workflow optimization, and performance monitoring to drive measurable improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation, cost reduction, and process refinement, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Lead initiatives to strengthen team capabilities through targeted training, mentorship, and professional development programs. Maintain rigorous compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while upholding the highest standards of governance and ethical conduct. Serve as a key liaison with senior leadership to communicate progress, address challenges, and recommend data-driven solutions that support long-term growth and sustainability.

Project Execution and Management: Oversee the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among teams, stakeholders, and vendors to align objectives and resolve any potential conflicts or bottlenecks. Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports, while monitoring performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. Provide leadership in identifying risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.

Provide assistance in the development, strategic planning, and execution of ARISE projects to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and donor specifications.

Oversee and manage ongoing project operations in Born and Lobe field locations on a daily basis.

Deliver project deliverables in alignment with predefined objectives and key performance indicators, ensuring adherence to established timelines and schedules.

Collaborate closely with Project Officers, Volunteers, and Consultants to facilitate seamless project execution.

Develop, implement, and oversee systematic processes to track project progress, measure outcomes, and evaluate impact, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Compile and analyze performance data to produce accurate, insightful reports that inform decision-making and enhance transparency. Collaborate with stakeholders to establish clear metrics and reporting frameworks that facilitate continuous improvement and accountability.

Assist in establishing and executing MEAL systems to monitor and evaluate project advancements systematically.

Gather, organize, and evaluate project data to generate comprehensive reports and support informed decision-making processes.

Compose comprehensive narrative and activity reports in a timely and precise manner for distribution to management and donors.

Oversee on-site operations to verify adherence to established standards and quality criteria.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying stakeholder needs, addressing concerns, and fostering a collaborative environment to achieve common goals. Attend essential community-level meetings and coordination forums in ARISE’s stead as needed.

Provide administrative and logistical support to ensure smooth operations by managing schedules, coordinating resources, and facilitating communication between departments. Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and oversee office procedures to enhance efficiency. Handle travel arrangements, procurement of supplies, and facility management as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and address operational needs promptly.

Facilitate the strategic planning of project activities, training sessions, workshops, and community engagement initiatives.

Provide support in the administration and organization of project-related documentation, records, and knowledge resources.

Facilitate seamless coordination of logistics and field support to ensure the flawless execution of operations.

Ensure adherence to risk management protocols and safeguarding standards to mitigate potential threats and maintain organizational integrity. Implement and oversee compliance frameworks to protect stakeholders and uphold regulatory obligations. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and enforce corrective measures. Foster a culture of accountability and transparency to reinforce ethical practices and mitigate legal liabilities.

Evaluate potential obstacles in implementation and communicate any associated risks in a timely and appropriate manner to relevant stakeholders.

Ensure strict compliance with safeguarding, protection, and accountability policies at all times.

Facilitate the incorporation of inclusive practices, with a particular focus on empowering women, youth, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and individuals with disabilities.
