Responsibilities
Installation, commissioning, and servicing of refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including split units, VRF/VRV systems, chillers, and industrial cooling units, are required.
Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Diagnose and resolve faults related to electrical systems, mechanical components, and refrigerant systems with precision and efficiency.
Perform repairs and install new parts, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control boards, as needed.
Safely manage refrigerants by performing essential tasks such as recovery, recycling, and recharging to maintain compliance with environmental and safety standards.
Maintain precise documentation of service activities and provide clients with guidance on energy conservation practices to enhance their efficiency.
Handle emergency breakdown calls promptly and efficiently to ensure rapid response and resolution for affected individuals.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience in software development. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including but not limited to Python, Java, or C++, is essential. Candidates must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Experience with agile methodologies, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and DevOps practices is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning are also necessary.
A recognized diploma, Trade Test Certificate, or equivalent qualification in refrigeration and air conditioning, mechanical engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
Seeking candidates with three to four years of practical experience in refrigeration and air conditioning or heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Possesses a comprehensive understanding of HVAC principles and systems.
Possesses a strong command of refrigerant handling and gas charging procedures, ensuring precise execution in compliance with industry standards and safety protocols. Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail when managing refrigerant systems, including accurate measurement, proper evacuation, and adherence to environmental regulations.
Proficient in interpreting wiring diagrams and technical schematics is required.
Proficiency in problem-solving, communication, and teamwork is essential for this role, enabling effective collaboration and efficient resolution of challenges.
City & Guilds, NAB TEB, or any other reputable HVAC/R certification will be considered a valuable asset.
