We are in search of a highly organized, empathetic, and proactive Doctor-Patient Liaison Officer to strengthen our team at DO Health. The position operates under the direct supervision of the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of critical duties, including the planning, coordination, and supervision of projects to ensure timely and efficient delivery within established budgets. Develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and drive organizational growth. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align objectives, resolve challenges, and foster a culture of innovation and accountability. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and present actionable insights to senior leadership to support informed decision-making. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices while maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism. Act as a key liaison between departments, stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate seamless communication and project execution.

Tracking and overseeing patient reservations are essential duties.

We ensure healthcare providers are promptly notified of upcoming appointments, facilitating timely reminders and confirmation of scheduled consultations. This role involves maintaining clear communication with doctors, verifying appointment details, and alerting them to any necessary preparations or updates. By proactively managing these notifications, we help optimize scheduling efficiency and support seamless patient care.

Ensuring that physicians commence appointments punctually forms a fundamental aspect of this role, maintaining the efficiency and reliability of scheduled medical consultations.

Assisting patients with resolving any difficulties encountered when scheduling or attending an appointment.

Efficiently and promptly manage appointment rescheduling to minimize disruptions for both patients and physicians.

Respond promptly and courteously to patient inquiries received through various communication channels, including phone, email, and Crisp, ensuring their needs or concerns are addressed thoroughly and professionally.

Overseeing the scheduling of physicians’ appointments and commitments constitutes a key responsibility within this role. This position requires meticulous organization and strong communication skills to ensure that all doctors’ time is utilized efficiently. Duties include coordinating appointment slots, adjusting schedules as needed, and liaising with both medical staff and patients to prevent conflicts or delays. Prior experience in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred, along with proficiency in scheduling software and exceptional attention to detail.

Prepare monthly reports summarizing appointment bookings, physician schedules, patient feedback, and operational performance metrics for review.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in software development or a comparable technical role. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is required, alongside expertise in database management and cloud computing platforms. Candidates must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems, such as Git, is also essential. Exceptional communication abilities and a commitment to continuous learning are highly valued.

A bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a closely related discipline is highly desirable.

With a minimum of three years of experience in a client-facing position—ideally within a medical or healthcare setting—you would be well-suited for this role.

Proficiency in customer relationship management systems, appointment scheduling software, or telemedicine platforms is highly desirable.
