The Support Desk Personnel will function as the main on-site liaison for hospital staff and patients utilizing the organization’s acquired digital technology suite and oncology access initiatives. Their primary objective is to alleviate operational pressures on hospital staff while ensuring smooth patient navigation through program processes and diagnostic services.
Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Implement strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and team performance while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous innovation. You will deliver first-line technical and digital support, offering system guidance and addressing basic troubleshooting needs for users.
Patient Navigation entails guiding patients through program pathways, encompassing enrollment procedures and referrals to immunohistochemistry (IOC) diagnostic services.
Program Coordination entails managing operational workflows within hospital environments while identifying and conveying system-related challenges to the program team.
Maintain precise records of Support Desk operations and deliver regular performance summaries along with analytical insights.
Ensure adherence to all patient interactions and data handling in full compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and established hospital confidentiality protocols.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, system architecture, or a comparable role. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, alongside expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and the capacity to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams are also necessary. Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies is preferred. Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are required.
A degree in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or any medical science-related field is required.
Candidates should possess relevant experience in healthcare coordination, hospital administration, pharmacy operations, or technical support roles.
