Job Summary:
The Delivery Driver ensures the timely and accurate transport and distribution of the company’s gas products to customers along a designated route.
Key Duties: Lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to drive organizational growth and efficiency. Oversee cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives and fostering collaboration. Manage daily operations, optimize processes, and allocate resources effectively to meet performance targets. Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and mentor employees to enhance productivity and engagement. Collaborate with senior leadership to shape business strategies, analyze market trends, and identify opportunities for innovation. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while maintaining high standards of accountability.
Provide gas products to customers while ensuring exceptional service and strong customer relationships.
Offer expert product insights and technical assistance to customers upon request.
Ensure timely delivery of products using the delivery van while upholding vehicle cleanliness and operational efficiency.
Support the operators in safely loading gas cylinders onto the vehicle.
Oversee the van inventory, perform daily stock reconciliations, and document any discrepancies that arise.
Accurately document sales transactions, customer interactions, and delivery records to ensure comprehensive and precise record-keeping.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, finance, or accounting, from an accredited institution. A minimum of three years of professional experience in financial analysis, reporting, or auditing is required. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills are essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities are necessary for success in this role. Candidates must possess excellent organizational skills and the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and experience with ERP systems are advantageous.
A minimum of one to two years of professional experience in delivery services or driving is required.
A valid driver’s license accompanied by an unblemished driving history is required for this position.
Skilled in operating both manual and automatic vehicles, with a particular focus on mini buses and vans.
