Job Summary
We seek a meticulous and proficient Machine Operator to oversee, regulate, and maintain production machinery, thereby ensuring optimal manufacturing efficiency and product excellence.
Oversee a comprehensive range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and team leadership to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to optimize productivity, quality, and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with senior management to align departmental goals with broader company initiatives, fostering cross-functional synergy. Manage resources, budgets, and timelines to deliver projects on schedule while maintaining cost efficiency. Conduct regular assessments of team performance, providing constructive feedback and professional development opportunities to cultivate talent. Serve as a primary liaison with stakeholders, addressing concerns and facilitating transparent communication to build trust and accountability. Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and ethical guidelines to mitigate risks and uphold organizational integrity.
Operate production machinery in full compliance with established company protocols and stringent safety regulations.
Oversee machine functionality and implement required modifications to maintain optimal operational efficiency.
Perform regular equipment inspections and carry out fundamental maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
Assess machinery for any malfunctions, failures, or operational disruptions, and document and escalate such incidents without delay to ensure swift resolution.
Maintain strict adherence to quality benchmarks and consistently achieve production goals.
Ensure the meticulous documentation and reporting of all production activities and outcomes.
Ensure the work environment remains tidy and fully compliant with all health and safety protocols at all times.
Seeking a candidate with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a leadership role, preferably within a fast-paced environment. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, and possess strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools is required, along with the ability to analyze complex data and make strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams, driving operational efficiency, and delivering measurable results. Additional qualifications include experience with budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking, as well as a commitment to continuous professional development.
A minimum qualification of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Trade Test certification, or an equivalent credential is required.
A minimum of one to three years of hands-on experience in operating machinery within an FMCG or manufacturing setting is required.
Proficient in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues through systematic troubleshooting techniques.
Must be capable of functioning effectively in rotating shifts and operating independently with minimal oversight.
Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and a steadfast dedication to maintaining safety standards.
