What you will do:
Ensure flawless front-of-house operations, delivering consistently superior service across every seating.
Direct and oversee the service team’s adherence to strict standards of conduct, presentation, and performance, while providing leadership, mentorship, and accountability to ensure consistent execution.
Oversee reservations, floor plans, and guest flow with precision and professionalism.
Manage high-value guest relationships, resolve complaints, and address special requests with a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality.
Collaborate effectively with the kitchen staff to maintain uniformity in timing, plating standards, and menu expertise throughout the team.
Collaborate closely with the accountant to manage the restaurant’s financial performance, overseeing critical areas such as budgeting, cost control measures, profit-and-loss (P&L) monitoring, and revenue reporting.
Oversee food and beverage expenditures, maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize waste, and conduct supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms.
Oversee payroll operations, staff scheduling processes, and labor cost expenditures to ensure alignment with established targets.
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times to uphold operational integrity and regulatory compliance.
You will provide direct reporting to the ownership team regarding financial performance, staffing requirements, and operational priorities.
What we are looking for:
With a minimum of five years of experience in overseeing fine dining or upscale full-service establishments, preferably in Lagos Island, you will bring valuable expertise to this role.
Profound expertise in gastronomy, viniculture, and the operational protocols of upscale dining establishments is essential.
Demonstrated expertise in assembling, guiding, motivating, and cultivating a high-performing professional service team.
Demonstrates exceptional financial expertise, encompassing robust budgeting skills, strategic cost management, and a comprehensive grasp of profit and loss (P&L) principles.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities, are essential for this role.
