Job Summary
A Facilities Officer is responsible for managing and preserving an organization’s physical workspaces, guaranteeing they remain secure, operational, and conducive to employee productivity.
They oversee daily building operations, coordinate necessary repairs, manage vendor relationships, and ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations throughout the premises.
Develop and execute core responsibilities to drive organizational objectives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational standards. Oversee key functions to maintain efficiency, productivity, and compliance with established policies and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance performance, and achieve measurable outcomes. Plan and oversee both preventive and corrective maintenance programs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural systems to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.
You will act as the main liaison for tenant work orders, promptly addressing complaints and maintaining a comfortable living environment for all residents.
Skilled in managing vendor relationships, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating with, and overseeing the performance of external contractors, cleaning services, security teams, and utility suppliers to ensure optimal service delivery.
Regular property inspections are conducted to ensure strict adherence to local safety codes, fire regulations, and emergency preparedness protocols.
Forecast maintenance-related expenditures, monitor operational cost trends, administer service charge budgets, and generate periodic financial statements.
The primary focus will involve tracking and evaluating critical success metrics that gauge performance efficiency and progress toward organizational objectives. These quantifiable measures will serve as benchmarks for assessing productivity, effectiveness, and overall goal attainment within the role. Regular monitoring of these indicators will help identify trends, highlight areas for improvement, and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
We are responsible for maintaining the continuous operation of essential utilities, including power, water supply, and elevator systems, to ensure seamless functionality without any disruptions.
Responding promptly to tenant complaints and maintenance tickets ensures adherence to agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs).
Operate within the authorized facility maintenance budget while upholding the established quality standards.
