The Quality Control Supervisor oversees the execution of equipment testing and post-maintenance inspections to confirm compliance before equipment is issued a green tag or transferred to the Asset Coordinator. In addition to directing the daily functions and upkeep of the test facility, the role includes supervising test facility personnel. The position further ensures the establishment, implementation, and ongoing adherence to the Quality Management System and related protocols—such as plant procedures and quality plans—in full compliance with API, ISO, and ASTM standards.
Oversee and execute key responsibilities encompassing the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and fostering sustainable growth. Coordinate cross-functional teams to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and drive project milestones to successful completion. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize processes and improve overall productivity. Oversee the operational activities of the test and quality control (QC) department to ensure adherence to established standards and protocols.
Enhance and streamline test and quality control processes, procedures, and capabilities to ensure maximum efficiency and consistency.
Oversee the monitoring and calibration of inspection, measurement, and testing equipment, while also ensuring the upkeep of the facility’s testing apparatus.
Conduct regular technical audits and CAT compliance evaluations while ensuring the closure of all maintenance-related remedial action plans.
Conduct comprehensive technical evaluations of vendors and suppliers to verify adherence to and qualification under the Quality Management System.
Establish and nurture a culture of ongoing enhancement by designing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives and strategic plans within the designated location or GeoUnit, with the primary objectives of elevating asset utilization, enhancing reliability, and optimizing the cost of service delivery (Cost).
Lead assigned failure investigations in collaboration with the GeoUnit Reliability team, Cost, or Maintenance Manager, alongside other relevant departments, to methodically and promptly address the underlying root causes of defects.
Deliver accurate data books and Certifications of Conformity (COC) for all products and services provided to customers.

Higher National Diploma or Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a specialization in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Petroleum, Materials, or Metallurgy.
With a minimum of seven years of experience—including at least two years in shop operations—within oilfield Completions or other related oilfield disciplines, candidates should also demonstrate prior involvement in leadership or supervisory positions.
Proficiency in practical application of Completions technologies—including Sand Management Services, Intelligent Completions, and Liner Hangers—is highly advantageous.
Demonstrated proficiency in maintenance operations, procedural workflows, and quality assurance protocols is required.
Proficiency in tubular structures, material classifications, connection thread designs, termination fittings, and testing equipment is required.
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and established maintenance methodologies within the oilfield sector is required.
Possesses a comprehensive understanding of oilfield QHSE standards and best practices.
Demonstrates a strong commitment to ongoing enhancement, supported by pertinent certifications and successfully completed initiatives.
