Job Summary:

The Insurance & Claims Officer will oversee the administration and management of all corporate insurance policies, guaranteeing timely renewals, meticulous documentation, and streamlined claims processing. This position entails collaborating with insurance brokers and providers to secure appropriate coverage and expedite claims resolutions in alignment with company operations.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational standards. Manage and coordinate tasks to maintain workflow efficiency while upholding quality and compliance. Facilitate collaboration across teams to drive project success and meet strategic objectives. Monitor progress, address challenges proactively, and implement solutions to optimize performance. Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a productive and accountable work environment.

Maintain a comprehensive and current register detailing all company insurance policies, including but not limited to motor, plant & machinery, contractors’ all risk, and group life coverage.

Monitor policy expiration dates diligently and initiate renewals promptly to prevent any interruptions in coverage.

Liaise with insurance brokers and companies on policy placement, renewals, and endorsements

Coordinate and oversee all insurance claims to guarantee efficient processing and prompt settlement.

Collect and forward all necessary documentation to support claims, including incident reports, photographs, and repair estimates.

Track claims progress diligently and deliver consistent, detailed reports to leadership at scheduled intervals.

Ensure all insurance certificates and documents are meticulously organized and readily available for retrieval.

Assist project teams in managing insurance-related documentation and ensuring adherence to compliance requirements.

Examine insurance policies meticulously to verify their compliance with organizational practices and contractual commitments.

Assist with the review and validation of insurance obligations outlined in contractual documents and formal agreements.

Periodically generate detailed reports summarizing insurance coverage details, renewal schedules, and the current status of claims.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related discipline is required for consideration.

Require one to three years of professional experience in insurance administration, claims management, or a closely related field.

Proficiency in collaborating with insurance brokers or firms constitutes a desirable qualification for this role.

Professionals should possess foundational knowledge of corporate insurance policies, including automotive, property, and project-specific coverage options.

Maintains meticulous organization and precise record-keeping throughout all duties.

Proficient communication abilities, coupled with a strong capacity for consistent follow-through, are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to thorough and timely follow-up in all professional interactions.

Demonstrates strong command of Microsoft Office applications, with a particular emphasis on advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, and complex formulas.

Identifies critical skills and attributes essential for success in the role. Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address complex challenges efficiently.
