Job Summary:
We seek a meticulous and proficient Lab Analyst to enhance our team. The selected individual will perform precise chemical analyses, maintain laboratory instruments, and uphold testing protocols in strict adherence to regulatory and safety requirements. Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties, including but not limited to strategic planning, operational oversight, and team leadership, to ensure organizational efficiency and goal attainment. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize workflow and enhance productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align departmental objectives with broader company initiatives. Foster a culture of accountability, professional development, and collaboration among team members. Maintain compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and ethical guidelines. Perform comprehensive qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with established standards.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain a range of sophisticated laboratory instruments, including spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and other specialized equipment.
Prepare chemical solutions and reagents for laboratory applications in strict accordance with established formulas and established protocols.
Examine data meticulously and compile comprehensive reports summarizing test outcomes, maintaining adherence to established industry standards and ensuring complete accuracy.
Contribute to the creation and execution of innovative testing procedures and methodologies.
Maintain strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations in every laboratory operation.
Maintain meticulous documentation of all laboratory activities, encompassing test results, calibration logs, and inventory records of laboratory supplies.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including production and quality control, to uphold product quality and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
You will conduct laboratory audits and inspections to verify compliance with industry best practices and applicable regulatory standards.
Qualifications include a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, supplemented by at least three years of hands-on experience in software development or IT infrastructure management. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, along with a solid understanding of database systems, cloud computing platforms, and DevOps practices. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams are also required. Additionally, relevant certifications—such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CISSP, or PMP—will be advantageous.
A bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry is required.
With at least four years of hands-on laboratory experience, preferably in an industry such as chemical manufacturing or lubricants, you will have developed a strong foundation in essential technical and procedural skills.
Demonstrated expertise in operating a range of laboratory equipment, including High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), and Ultraviolet-Visible (UV-Vis) Spectroscopy systems, among other analytical instruments.
Demonstrates a thorough grasp of laboratory safety standards and proper chemical management practices.
Proven ability to analyze intricate data sets and derive meaningful insights efficiently.
Proficient in laboratory best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ISO guidelines.
Accurate record-keeping, exceptional organizational abilities, and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
Must demonstrate proficiency in both autonomous work and collaborative team settings.
Good communication abilities, encompassing both written and verbal proficiency, as well as familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, are essential.
Proficiency in laboratory information management systems (LIES) is considered advantageous.
Additional prerequisites include a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in the field, proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Candidates must possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail. Familiarity with regulatory compliance, data privacy laws, and ethical guidelines is also essential. A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required, while advanced certifications or specialized training are highly advantageous.
