Job Summary

The Fleet Tracking Executive will oversee the monitoring and tracking of company vehicles, verify adherence to designated routes, deliver real-time updates on vehicle locations, and contribute to the optimization of fleet operations.

Job Details

Utilize GPS tracking systems to actively supervise and log the movements of fleet vehicles.

Deliver live tracking data regarding vehicle positions and trajectories.

Ensure all drivers adhere strictly to the designated routes and schedules as approved by management.

Evaluate any delays, deviations from planned routes, or security issues, and promptly escalate them as necessary.

Maintain precise documentation of vehicle movements and trip reports.

Collaborate with drivers, transport teams, and key stakeholders to address and resolve operational challenges effectively.

Compile comprehensive tracking reports of the fleet on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Track fuel usage and vehicle deployment as needed.

Swiftly report any incidents, breakdowns, or emergencies without delay to ensure prompt communication.

Ensure the seamless coordination of transport and logistics activities across the organization.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in project management methodologies, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field is required, and a PMP certification is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and leadership abilities are necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools is also required.

A bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline is required.

Requires a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in fleet monitoring, logistics, transportation, or a closely related field.

Demonstrated expertise in utilizing GPS tracking systems alongside advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.

Demonstrates exceptional analytical abilities and a talent for solving complex problems.

Effective communication and proficient reporting abilities are essential for this role.

Demonstrates resilience in high-pressure environments while maintaining meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in all tasks.
