Job Summary
The ERM Officer will facilitate the establishment, ongoing evaluation, and documentation of the enterprise risk management framework throughout the organization.
A qualified candidate must possess a comprehensive grasp of identifying, evaluating, assessing, and mitigating risks, along with reporting mechanisms, specifically within the financial services sector.
This role is accountable to the Head of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), forming a direct reporting relationship to this senior executive.
Oversee and execute critical operational duties essential to the role, including managing daily workflows, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring adherence to established protocols. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and service quality across assigned projects or departments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives, resolve challenges, and drive cohesive performance. Maintain rigorous compliance with industry regulations, organizational policies, and safety standards to mitigate risks and uphold accountability. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate detailed reports to evaluate progress, identify trends, and recommend data-driven improvements. Serve as a liaison between leadership and staff, providing clear communication, guidance, and support to foster a productive and engaged work environment.
Support the identification, evaluation, and ongoing oversight of enterprise-wide risks encompassing operational, financial, strategic, and compliance-related vulnerabilities.
Assist in creating and executing risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure organizational resilience and compliance.
Craft comprehensive risk reports and dynamic dashboards for executive leadership, emphasizing critical risk exposures alongside proactive mitigation strategies.
Perform evaluations of potential business impacts by carrying out risk assessments, scenario analysis, and stress testing.
Stay abreast of evolving regulations and market developments to maintain adherence to compliance standards and anticipate potential risks.
Assist in the ongoing upkeep of the risk register and ensure timely follow-through on risk mitigation action plans.
Contribute to the development and delivery of risk awareness and training initiatives throughout the organization.
Partner with various internal departments to seamlessly embed risk management into everyday business operations and strategic choices.

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is mandatory, supplemented by a minimum of three years of direct experience in the industry. Proficiency in specific software tools, such as advanced spreadsheet applications and project management platforms, is required. Professional candidates will have accumulated between two and five years of hands-on experience within Enterprise Risk Management, Risk Analysis, Compliance, or a closely related discipline, ideally within the financial services sector or capital markets environment.
Demonstrates a comprehensive grasp of risk management fundamentals, established methodologies, and applicable regulatory standards.
Minimum of three years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint, along with specialized risk reporting tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
Skilled in crafting clear, concise reports and fostering strong interpersonal connections, with a proven ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences and situations.
Demonstrates strong self-motivation and the capacity to function effectively both autonomously and as a cohesive member of a team.
