Job Summary:
The Blocks Production Officer will collaborate with the Production Officer to manage the day-to-day operations and manufacturing processes for MSHE building blocks and related machinery. This position entails supporting the coordination of production schedules, conducting quality control assessments, resolving operational challenges, and contributing to the enhancement of production efficiency.
Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and team leadership to drive organizational success. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with company objectives and industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and foster innovation. Monitor project progress, allocate resources efficiently, and mitigate risks to maintain project timelines and budgetary constraints. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting professional growth and cultivating a high-performance culture. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical guidelines while maintaining a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Provide assistance to the Production Officer in managing the manufacturing team and supervising every facet of the production workflow.
Assist in the creation and execution of production schedules designed to fulfill customer orders while adhering to established project timelines.
Monitor production processes to evaluate current operations, pinpoint inefficiencies, and recommend enhancements to workflow efficiency, levels, and product quality standards.
Provide support in establishing and executing quality control measures and procedures, ensuring products adhere to defined specifications.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and partner with maintenance teams to expedite resolution of issues.
Deliver comprehensive training and mentorship to production personnel regarding correct operational methods and established safety guidelines.
Examine production data to generate and deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reports to the Production Officer, ensuring accurate and timely insights for operational decision-making.
Perform regular inspections of machinery and equipment to promptly identify and report any faults or irregularities.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Purchasing and Inventory, to synchronize production requirements effectively.
Suggest enhancements to existing workflows and propose innovative solutions to boost overall operational productivity.
Verify adherence to all relevant safety protocols, environmental standards, and regulatory mandates to maintain full compliance.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, complemented by a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is required, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is a must. Knowledge of current industry trends and best practices is highly desirable.
A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a comparable discipline is required.
Seeking candidates with a minimum of two to three years of hands-on experience in block production and machinery troubleshooting.
