The Medical Officer / Practice Manager will deliver both clinical expertise and operational leadership to advance the GIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) service line and other women’s health offerings at Nordic.

This position integrates patient consultations and clinical coordination with practice management duties, aiming to deliver services efficiently, enhance patient satisfaction, and maintain operational excellence.

The successful candidate must demonstrate robust clinical decision-making, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in coordinating multidisciplinary processes within a high-velocity women’s health setting.

Assist in assessing and determining patient eligibility for High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (GIFU) and other minimally invasive treatments.

Conduct a thorough review of imaging results, laboratory investigations, and patient medical histories in collaboration with consulting physicians.

Offer comprehensive patient education and counseling services, explaining available treatment options, outlining anticipated outcomes, and guiding individuals through the recovery process.

Facilitate the implementation and oversight of clinical care pathways both before and after procedures to ensure comprehensive patient management.

Ensure the precision and thoroughness of clinical documentation and electronic medical records at all times.

Engage in clinical audits, collaborative case reviews, and quality enhancement projects to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.

GIFU Service Support Specialist

This role focuses on providing comprehensive technical assistance and guidance for High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (GIFU) systems, ensuring optimal performance and addressing service-related inquiries. The position involves diagnosing equipment issues, performing maintenance, and delivering training to clients or internal teams to enhance system usability and safety. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers and sales representatives, is essential to resolve complex technical challenges and improve overall service efficiency. Candidates should possess hands-on experience with GIFU technology, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-expert stakeholders.

Orchestrate the planning and execution of schedules and workflows for High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (GIFU) procedures.

Facilitate seamless collaboration among physicians, nursing professionals, radiology technicians, and administrative personnel to ensure cohesive teamwork and effective information exchange.

Regularly assess patient experience metrics and oversee the seamless transition of care to maintain consistent treatment throughout the recovery process.

Support the monitoring and documentation of patient outcomes, as well as the preparation and submission of related reports.

Facilitate awareness initiatives, patient seminars, and educational programs focused on GIFU services to enhance understanding and engagement among target audiences.

Ensure the practice adheres to legal and ethical guidelines while delivering exceptional service to patients and stakeholders.

Responsible for the daily management and operational oversight of the clinic or service line, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services.

Oversee the seamless management of patient appointments, services, and overall patient flow to maintain efficiency and high-quality care delivery.

Assist in the execution of operational policies and clinical protocols to ensure adherence and effectiveness.

Responsibilities include organizing staff schedules and providing assistance with performance monitoring as needed.

Oversee inventory management and facilitate the procurement process for clinical consumables and supplies to ensure uninterrupted availability.

Assist with billing coordination, generate reports, and monitor operational key performance indicators (KPIs).

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of three years of professional experience in a similar role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are required, as is the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Additionally, the ideal applicant must demonstrate adaptability to evolving priorities and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

MBLS or an equivalent medical qualification, coupled with full registration from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, is required.

Minimum four years of clinical experience following completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYC) program is required.

Proficiency in women’s health, fertility, radiology, or minimally invasive procedures would be considered an asset.

Desirable prior experience includes healthcare operations or practice management.
