The Warehouse Facility Manager oversees the physical environment of Sun King’s warehouse, safeguarding operational readiness, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and lease terms, maintaining robust security measures, managing assets efficiently, and upholding sustainable practices throughout the facility.
The incumbent is responsible for maintaining the warehouse in compliance with all operational, regulatory, and organizational standards, thereby facilitating uninterrupted daily activities for the warehouse team.

Responsible for overseeing the facility operations and managing relationships with external vendors, this role ensures the seamless functioning of all operational processes while maintaining high standards of service delivery and efficiency. Act as the main point of contact for landlords and applicable regulatory bodies regarding lease-related issues, while overseeing and coordinating timelines for fit-outs, inspections, and lease renewals.
Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with relevant teams to ensure facility safety, security, enforce lease compliance, and protect assets.
Perform systematic safety evaluations and verify adherence to fire safety, occupational health, and emergency protocols mandated for the warehouse environment.
Responsible for managing insurance policies related to the facility, inventory, and equipment, guaranteeing comprehensive and up-to-date coverage at all times; monitor renewal deadlines and collaborate with the Finance department to ensure timely policy administration.
Ensuring adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance and safety standards is a critical responsibility within this role. A degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, such as an HND or B.Sc., is required.
With a minimum of three years of hands-on leadership in warehouse operations, preferably within the solar industry, FMCG sector, or a comparable field, you bring proven expertise in optimizing storage, logistics, and inventory control to drive operational excellence.
