Sagamu, located in Gun State, serves as the operational base for this factory-based position.

The primary objective of this position is to oversee and execute key responsibilities that drive organizational success. This role requires a highly motivated individual capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on detail. Essential qualifications include a minimum of five years of relevant experience in the field, along with proficiency in industry-specific software and tools. Key duties involve coordinating cross-functional teams, analyzing performance metrics to identify trends, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance productivity. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment.

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing all warehouse operations, inventory management, and inbound/outbound logistics at our Sag amu factory. The successful candidate will guarantee smooth supply chain processes, uphold stringent inventory precision, and guide the warehouse team to deliver outstanding operational performance.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties centered on strategic planning, operational efficiency, and team leadership. Develop and implement policies to enhance productivity, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Lead cross-functional initiatives, collaborate with senior management to align departmental objectives with organizational goals, and evaluate performance metrics to drive data-informed decision-making. Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to maintain strong partnerships and deliver exceptional service. Additionally, identify opportunities for innovation, streamline processes to reduce inefficiencies, and mentor team members to cultivate high-performing talent.

Warehouse Operations: Responsible for managing all aspects of daily warehouse functions, such as the receipt, storage, distribution, and shipment of raw materials and finished products.

Inventory control responsibilities include establishing and sustaining strong inventory management systems to guarantee absolute precision, performing consistent stock audits, and reducing discrepancies and losses.

Coordinate fleet operations, dispatch timelines, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners to guarantee punctual deliveries to distributors and customers.

Strategically oversee warehouse layout and space allocation to enhance operational efficiency while ensuring a secure and compliant work environment.

Provide leadership to the warehouse team by overseeing, coaching, and assessing staff, supervisors, and loaders to cultivate a secure and responsible work environment.

Ensure unwavering compliance with all factory safety standards, health regulations, and company policies throughout the warehouse environment.

Prepare and deliver periodic reports to senior management that highlight key performance indicators for the warehouse, logistics expenditures, and current inventory levels.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience is required. Proficiency in specific programming languages, development frameworks, and tools is essential. Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills are expected. Experience with system design, debugging, and performance optimization is highly valued. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams are necessary. Familiarity with industry best practices, security protocols, and compliance standards is preferred. Prior experience in a similar role or demonstrated expertise through projects may be considered.

A Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.

With a track record spanning six to seven years, you bring extensive expertise in overseeing warehouse operations and optimizing logistics processes, ideally within a manufacturing or high-volume production setting.

Experienced with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software platforms, including but not limited to SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics.

Exceptional proficiency in leadership, conflict resolution, and personnel management is required.

Proven expertise in analytical reasoning, problem resolution, and efficient time management is required. Strong aptitude for synthesizing complex information, identifying solutions, and prioritizing tasks effectively is essential.

Individuals must be prepared to either relocate to or reside in Sag amu, where factory accommodation will be provided.
