A highly proficient HVAC VRV/VRF Technician is required to perform the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of VRV/VRF air conditioning systems within residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Oversee and execute critical responsibilities that include managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement. Monitor performance metrics to identify trends, address inefficiencies, and recommend data-driven solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to align projects with organizational goals and foster a culture of accountability and innovation. Provide leadership in budget planning, resource allocation, and risk management to support sustainable growth and profitability.

Install, commission, and maintain VRV/VRF HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. Conduct thorough site assessments to determine system requirements and compatibility. Oversee the installation process, including component placement, electrical connections, and refrigerant handling in strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Perform commissioning to verify system functionality, performance testing, and compliance with manufacturer specifications. Conduct regular maintenance, including inspections, filter replacements, and system diagnostics, to prolong equipment lifespan and minimize operational disruptions. Troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose malfunctions, and implement corrective actions to restore system efficiency. Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and service reports. Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure and adherence to project timelines.

Diagnose system malfunctions and perform necessary corrective actions.

Perform regular preventive maintenance and conduct thorough inspections to ensure equipment and systems operate at optimal efficiency, identifying potential issues before they escalate into major problems.

Execute refrigerant charging procedures, conduct leak detection assessments, and perform pressure testing operations.

Ensure meticulous documentation of all service and maintenance activities, updating records promptly and accurately to reflect completed tasks and any relevant details.

Requirements

Applicants must hold an OND qualification and demonstrate at least three years of hands-on experience with VRV/VRF systems.

Proficient in HVAC systems, controls, and diagnostics, with a deep understanding of their operational principles and interdependencies.

Experienced with prominent HVAC brands, including Dakin, LG, Samsung, Mitsubishi Electric, and similar industry leaders.

Proficient in analyzing and comprehending technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams is required.

Proven expertise in diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions through analytical reasoning and systematic troubleshooting methodologies is essential.

Obtaining a relevant HVAC certification may provide a competitive edge in this role.
