Job Summary
A highly proficient HVAC VRV/VRF Technician is required to perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for VRV/VRF air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
The successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional technical proficiency in HVAC systems, fault diagnosis, and preventive maintenance practices.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic project management, cross-functional team leadership, and performance optimization initiatives. Duties include developing and implementing detailed project plans, ensuring adherence to established timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate team efforts to achieve organizational objectives, fostering collaboration and communication among departments. Monitor progress through regular assessments, identifying and addressing potential risks or inefficiencies. Additionally, contribute to policy development, process improvements, and the establishment of best practices to enhance overall operational effectiveness.
Install, commission, and maintain advanced VRV/VRF HVAC systems with precision to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Diagnose system faults and perform thorough troubleshooting to identify root causes before executing efficient repairs.
Perform regular inspections and implement preventive maintenance measures to sustain system efficiency and reliability.
Execute refrigerant charging, conduct leak detection, and perform pressure testing while adhering to established safety protocols and compliance guidelines.
Evaluate and oversee the functionality of system components such as electrical controls, airflow, and refrigerant levels to ensure optimal performance.
Analyze and decode technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams with precision to extract critical information.
Maintain adherence to established safety regulations and company-specific protocols.
Compose precise service reports and maintenance documentation to ensure comprehensive and up-to-date records of all service activities.
Work alongside engineers, project teams, and clients to facilitate seamless project execution.
Requirements
Earned a diploma or certification in HVAC, refrigeration, or a closely related discipline.
A minimum of three years of hands-on experience with VRV/VRF systems is required.
Demonstrates a deep knowledge of HVAC systems, their controls, and diagnostic procedures.
Skilled in collaborating with industry-leading brands, including Dakin, LG, Samsung, and Mitsubishi Electric.
Capable of analyzing and comprehending technical manuals and electrical schematics with precision and clarity.
Demonstrates a high level of proficiency in diagnosing issues and developing effective solutions.
Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative aptitude are essential for this role.
Proven capability to operate effectively within confined environments and perform necessary manual duties as circumstances demand.
HVAC certification or licensing, if applicable, would be considered a valuable asset.
