The primary goal of this position is to facilitate the achievement of strategic business objectives by overseeing key initiatives and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The Support Desk Personnel will function as the main in-person liaison between hospital staff, patients, and the organization’s integrated digital technology suite and oncology access programs. By providing responsive assistance, they aim to alleviate operational pressures on hospital personnel while ensuring patients experience smooth navigation through program processes and diagnostic services.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, including the management of daily operations, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance within the team or department. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives, share insights, and drive cohesive project outcomes. Monitor progress through regular assessments, providing timely feedback and corrective measures as needed to maintain high-quality deliverables. Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and addressing inquiries or concerns with professionalism. Additionally, contribute to the identification of training needs, talent development opportunities, and succession planning to support long-term organizational growth.

Technical and Digital Support: Act as the primary point of contact for our digital platform, offering expert system guidance and performing essential troubleshooting for end-users.

Patient Navigation entails guiding individuals through program pathways, encompassing enrollment procedures and facilitating referrals to immunohistochemistry (IOC) diagnostic services.

Program Coordination entails streamlining program processes within hospital operational frameworks while identifying and communicating operational challenges to the program team for resolution and improvement.

Administrative Reporting: Ensure meticulous documentation of Support Desk activities while delivering regular operational updates and valuable insights.

Ensure strict adherence to NDPR (Nigeria Data Protection Regulation) and hospital confidentiality protocols in all patient interactions and data handling activities.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is mandatory. Candidates must possess at least 3 years of hands-on experience in software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git is required. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning are also necessary.

A degree in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or another medical science discipline is required.

Seasoned professionals with expertise in healthcare coordination, hospital administration, pharmacy, or technical support are encouraged to apply.
