The Contract Manager will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts to ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards. Oversee the entire vessel contract lifecycle, commencing from the on-hire stage and concluding at the off-hire stage, ensuring full compliance with the terms outlined in the applicable charter party.
Act as the primary liaison between the client and the organization throughout the duration of the charter agreement.
The Scope of Work must be thoroughly reviewed for all inquiries and tenders to confirm that the Company, along with the designated vessel(s), fulfills operational requirements, while assessing the vessel’s capacity, capability, the competency of the crew, and the effectiveness of the supporting organization.
Ensure Commercial is promptly informed of all scheduled downtime, operational issues, or deviations that could impact charter party agreements, billing processes, or our collaborative relationship with the client.
In collaboration with the Offshore Director and the commercial team, consistently conduct client visits to maintain strong engagement and ensure the company is actively represented within the Energy and Marine sectors.
