Facilitate the execution and ongoing enhancement of sustainability programs in alignment with the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RPO) Principles & Criteria.
Responsibilities include managing RPO certification, surveillance audits, and recertification procedures to ensure compliance and alignment with established standards.
Responsibilities include managing RPO documentation, maintaining traceability records, and overseeing supply chain models for IP, SG, and MB operations.
Gather, evaluate, and present sustainability and ESG metrics, including greenhouse gas emissions, waste management, water usage, and supply chain sourcing practices.
Facilitate the administration of grievance procedures, conduct comprehensive risk evaluations, and develop and implement corrective action plans (CAP’s).
Build collaborative relationships with auditors, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to address sustainability initiatives and ensure alignment across all parties.
Develop comprehensive sustainability reports and interactive dashboards for both internal stakeholders and external audiences, ensuring accurate data representation and clear communication of key metrics.
Facilitate employee training and awareness initiatives to ensure comprehension of RPO and sustainability standards.
Facilitate employee education and training initiatives focused on sustainability programs to enhance organizational awareness.
Monitor sustainability performance metrics and propose strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
Monitor emerging sustainability trends, evolving regulations, and industry best practices to ensure alignment with current standards and innovations.
Seeking a seasoned professional with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and proficiency in industry-standard software. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, and candidates holding advanced certifications will be given preference. Familiarity with regulatory compliance, project management methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration is essential.
A Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science or a closely related discipline is required.
A minimum of four years of professional experience in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Energy Efficiency, Palm Plantation, or ESG consulting is required.
Proficiency in sustainability reporting frameworks, including GRI, IFC Performance Standards, GHG Protocol, CDP, and TCFD, is required.
Proficiency in carbon accounting methodologies and the ability to accurately track emissions data is required.
Proven expertise in fostering community relations and cultivating meaningful stakeholder engagement.
Proficiency in RPO standards and sustainable agricultural practices within palm plantations is considered a strong asset.
Proficient in advanced computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with exceptional technical expertise.
