Evaluate and address speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders through comprehensive assessment, precise diagnosis, and targeted therapeutic intervention.
Design and execute personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of both pediatric and adult clients.
Evaluate patient responses to treatment and modify therapeutic interventions accordingly to optimize outcomes.
Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapy objectives and prescribed home-based exercise regimens.
Ensure meticulous accuracy in all clinical documentation and patient records.
Work collaboratively with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Engage in comprehensive case evaluations and collaborative multidisciplinary team discussions to ensure thorough assessment and coordinated decision-making.
Deliver home care services, conduct outreach initiatives, and perform on-call duties as directed by the clinic.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and Language Therapy, Speech Pathology, or an equivalent discipline is required.
Proven ability to communicate effectively and build strong interpersonal relationships.
Proficient in conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and maintaining accurate, detailed documentation.
Proven capability to function autonomously as well as collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
Professional certifications or registrations pertinent to the role will be viewed favorably.
A full-time schedule is required, with typical business hours from Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. Occasional overtime or flexible hours may be necessary to meet project deadlines or accommodate client needs. Attendance and punctuality are essential to ensure seamless operations and team collaboration.
Roughly four (4) business days per week, contingent upon patient appointments and clinic operational needs, are required.
Candidates should be available to work on a rotating schedule that includes weekends—Saturdays and Sundays—depending on patient demand and operational requirements.
Adaptability to fluctuate schedules and on-call obligations is a necessity.
Employment Terms: The position offers a full-time schedule, requiring 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime as needed. This role is based on-site, and candidates must reside within commuting distance of the workplace.
