Job Summary:
We seek a highly organized, proactive, and technically proficient Technical Assistant to the Managing Director for a prominent Architectural Design Firm. The successful candidate will deliver strategic, administrative, and technical support to the Managing Director while collaborating with project teams across diverse responsibilities. This position is tailored for an individual with leadership aspirations who can adeptly represent the MD, oversee operational coordination, and progressively assume greater management duties when necessary.
Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and performance evaluation to ensure organizational objectives are met with precision and efficiency. Develop, implement, and monitor initiatives that drive growth, innovation, and sustainability across all business functions. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align departmental goals with broader corporate strategies, fostering cross-functional synergy and accountability. Manage high-performing teams by providing mentorship, clear directives, and performance incentives to cultivate a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and internal metrics to inform data-driven decision-making and proactive problem-solving. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards while maintaining meticulous documentation and reporting. Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies to facilitate seamless communication and resolve complex issues with diplomacy and professionalism.
Offer comprehensive technical and administrative assistance to the Managing Director on a daily basis.
Oversee the planning, execution, and progress tracking of architectural, engineering, and construction initiatives to ensure timely and successful project completion.
Represent the Managing Director in meetings, drafting detailed reports, compiling comprehensive minutes, and developing structured action plans to ensure follow-through on decisions.
Perform necessary research, conduct feasibility studies, and execute technical analysis as needed.
Contribute to project planning, scheduling, documentation, and quality assurance activities.
Act as a liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
Craft compelling presentations, proposals, technical reports, and professional business correspondence with precision and clarity.
Oversee project progress to guarantee timely completion of all deliverables.
Assist leadership in making informed operational and strategic decisions to drive organizational success.
When assigned by the MD, you will represent their interests and furnish leadership guidance to project teams.
Drive and support efforts aimed at expanding business opportunities, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering organizational advancement.
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; minimum 5 years of experience in software development; proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C++; strong understanding of algorithms and data structures; experience with web development frameworks such as React or Angular; familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; excellent problem-solving skills; strong communication abilities; and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
A degree in Architecture, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Building Technology, Project Management, Accounting, or a closely related field is required.
We seek candidates with at least three to five years of pertinent professional experience.
Demonstrates a comprehensive grasp of project management principles and business operations.
Proven expertise in crafting well-structured reports, delivering clear and concise communications, and executing compelling presentations.
Demonstrated expertise in utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential.
Proficiency in design and project management software, such as AutoCAD, Refit, or comparable applications, is essential.

Proficient in working autonomously, upholding strict confidentiality standards, and effectively prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines without direct supervision.
