Job Summary
We require a meticulous and proficient Machine Operator to oversee, manage, and maintain production equipment, thereby guaranteeing optimal manufacturing efficiency and product standards.
Oversee and execute critical duties including the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, management and leadership of cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Conduct comprehensive performance evaluations, identify areas for improvement, and foster a culture of continuous enhancement. Maintain accountability for project timelines, budget adherence, and resource allocation while collaborating with senior leadership to drive operational excellence and innovation. Additionally, serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and alignment across departments.
Operate production machinery in compliance with established company protocols and stringent safety regulations.
Evaluate machine functionality and implement required modifications to maintain optimal operational flow.
Perform regular assessments and minor upkeep of machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
Promptly detect and report machine malfunctions, breakdowns, or production irregularities to ensure swift resolution.
Deliver products that consistently adhere to established quality benchmarks while achieving established production benchmarks.
Ensure the meticulous documentation and reporting of all production activities, maintaining precise and up-to-date records at all times.
Maintain a tidy workspace and comply strictly with all health and safety protocols.
Requirements
A minimum qualification of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Trade Test, or an equivalent credential is required.
Requires 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in operating machinery within fast-moving consumer goods or manufacturing settings.
Proficient in performing mechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.
Capable of functioning effectively within rotating schedules and independently with minimal oversight.
Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and a steadfast dedication to maintaining safety standards.
