About the MNH-ASSIST Project:
The MPH-ASSIST initiative seeks to enhance the seamless availability, accessibility, utilization, monitoring, and reporting of maternal and newborn health (MNH) bundle commodities in designated health facilities.
Through strategic partnerships with multiple stakeholders—including government ministries, departments, and agencies such as the State Ministry of Health (Smog), State Primary Health Care Development Agencies (Spicas), the Disease Monitoring and Analysis/Case Management System (DMA/CMS), and health facilities—along with collaborating organizations like FIELD Intelligence, C4SD, CEPAP, TA Connect, Scalar, and CHAI, this initiative will be executed.

Additionally, it intends to refine consumption-based forecasting and quantification of MNCH bundle commodities while reinforcing disaster response frameworks (DRF) to maintain an uninterrupted supply of critical MNCH products.
The initiative is designed to enhance affordability of these bundled Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) services for beneficiaries by utilizing established government and donor-funded financing mechanisms that safeguard women and their families against financial burdens. These mechanisms encompass national and state-level health insurance programs, complimentary or subsidized MNCH services incorporated into BHCPF 2.0 and the HOPE-PHC initiative, as well as state-specific free MNCH programs where applicable.
